Happy New Year from the Team as we Enter the Final Stages of the Project

The whole project team would like to wish everyone who is following the project a happy New Year and we look forward to sharing our project outcomes with you in 2021.

The final four months of the project promise to be packed with activities and we very much look forward to the upcoming publications. The upcoming publications will consist of a scientific report on energy poverty in the Cluj-Napoca metropolitan area as well as a policy paper on best policy practices for combatting energy poverty from around the EU and the links between energy poverty and greenhouse gas emissions.  

We are also gearing up for two workshops, the first one of which will be taking place the 26th of January featuring national policy makers from Romania as well as local ones from the municipality of Cluj-Napoca. The second workshop will focus on the lessons learned from the project as well as how the outcomes can inform policy makers seeking to combat energy poverty. Thus, the second workshop will take a broader view and will be aimed at all policy makers and experts. The date for the second workshop is still to be announced and both workshops will of course be taking place online give the current circumstances.
