Project Kick-Off Meeting at the Babes-Bolyai University

All three implementing partners convened to cover issues ranging from administration to strategy.
A total of six representatives of the consortium comprised of the geography department of the Babes-Bolyai University (UBB), the Cluj-Napoca Municipality, and adelphi gathered on the UBB campus for their first meeting marking the launch of the project "Mitigating GHG emissions through energy poverty alleviation in Romania". The delegates discussed the local and national institutional framework that the project will be centered in, such as the current situation of energy poverty and the political framework in Romania. The complementary competencies of the partners and both local and international experience were instrumental in developing engagement strategies concerning the identification and integration of relevant stakeholders into project activities. Lastly. the partners discussed project management and refined the project timeline, inlcuding articulating concrete milestones to be reached.
The kick-off meeting was followed up with an operative roundtable session which included the partners and the most relevant stakeholders and was aimed at forming a concrete research agenda.
